  • Provides insight on the organization and evaluation of continuing medical education and implications of ACORN work on continuing community practitioners
  • Assists with qualitative data collection and analysis
  • Develops dissemination products that provide continuing education opportunities to primary care health professionals, including e-curricula, distance education and videoconferencing options

  • Consultant to the National Research Council, Institute of Medicine, in its efforts to assess prevention and treatment programs associated with violence in families
  • Consulted with the National Cancer Institute’s efforts to expedite the translation of new knowledge into clinical solutions
  • As editor of the Journal of Continuing Education in the Health Professions, worked with the Cochrane Collaboration to produce a 2006 issue exploring theory and practice in knowledge translation
