The Department of Family Medicine and Population Health provides primary health care physicians for patients throughout Virginia.
Our physicians offer a wide range of health care services, including baby and child care, elder care, shots, pap smears, family planning and checkups for hypertension, diabetes and cancer. They also treat skin, stomach, heart, lung and nerve problems, as well as perform minor office surgery and treat injuries.
As your primary care doctor, our goal is to provide you with health care and treatment options in a timely manner and guide you through the medical system, whether it involves referrals for specialists or receiving advice from our nursing staff on problems that don’t require an office visit.
